Poni Hoax is a five man army of French “jeunes gens modernes,” bookworm musicians and extremely talented composers. Under the patronage of producer Joakim Bouaziz, one of Europe’s most talented remixers (Air, Lionel Hampton, Tiga, Annie), Poni Hoax takes the lead in a most unanticipated way. One could qualify their style as rock’n'roll music with a wild hybridization of Italo disco, noisy garage and murder ballads. Poni Hoax could be the third millennium Roxy Music, Sonic Youth on Ecstasy, or Giorgio Moroder in bed with Arcade Fire.
They come to Bucharest for the first time for two very special concerts: a LIVE in the middle of the street for the 5th edition of Street Delivery and a mad DJ set in Control Club just after.
